Word HTML to HTML5
Using the Web application
After having typed and saved a text with Microsoft Word, you can save it as a filtered HTML Web page.
A .htm
page is created and any images are placed in a directory that is associated with the .htm
file.
This .htm
file is not very well coded in HTML and if include it as is, in a Web page, it will cause some errors in a browser.
This converter fixes the generated .htm
file and turns it into a HTML5
file.
This file contains the elements of style between the <style>
and </style>
tags.
The converter is still in beta and the conversion of the tables does not account for cellpadding
.
